Do`s & Dont`s

Caldmore have provided CTF with a set of guidelines designed to help tenants live in harmony with there neighbours as well as general security tips.The list below will be expanded as more usefull tips are provided.By following these guidelines,tenants can help to aviod formal complaints being made to Caldmore which may lead to ASBO orders or even losseing your home.If you feel you also have a useful tip to share with others then please do contact us in the normal way.

  • Flats: Ring the police if people are in your block,that should not be there.
  • Flats: Everyone should help to look after communal areas.
  • Flats: Ask your visitors to ensure they only press your buzzer.
  • Estates: Keep an eye out for persons that are hanging around or dealing drugs,report to the police.
  • Commual Doors: Please should be kept locked at all times,remove any obstruction,& ensure no one follows you in who should not be there.Doors should be closed and not slammed.
  • Do not let visitors ask for personnel information on your neighbours.
  • Do not allow visitors to remain in commual areas,when the person they are trying to contact is not in,report to police if they refuse to leave.
  • Always obtain ID from anyone you are not sure of.
  • Please keep all keys (& fobs) safe.You may have to pay for replacements.
  • Please respect the right of your neighbour to enjoy a quiet and peacful life,free from noise,distrubunce from visitors etc.Some may work nights and so will be resting / sleeping during the day.As a first step,always be polite if you ask your neighbour to turn down there music etc.
